Referendum for Online Voting

There will be a referendum to amend the MISU Constitution on Thursday 22nd November (Week 11). Students will be asked if they agree or disagree with introducing online voting in MISU elections, by-elections and referenda. By changing Article 11.5 Voting, Articles 11.6 Long Distance Voting and 11.7 Counting will be amended also.

The current MISU Constitution can be found here, the sections which are proposed to change are pages 22 - 24.

The proposed Articles 11.5, 11.6 and 11.7 can be read here. The proposed accompanying schedule to the MISU Constitution, Schedule 7 is also available to read here.

Printouts of the current Constitution, proposed Articles and proposed schedule to the MISU Constitution can be collected from MISU Reception.

Polling stations will be open on the Limerick campus between 8.30am and 6.30pm and on the Thurles campus between 11am and 1pm. Students votes are vital
