As this week is Limerick Pride Week, MIC got involved in celebrating across both our Limerick and Thurles campuses.
Today, we proudly fly the Pride Flag in our Limerick and Thurles campuses in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ staff and students
The flag was raised in the MIC Limerick campus by Professor Niamh Hourigan, Vice-President of Academic Affairs, Edel Foster, Athena SWAN Project Manager at MIC, RoΜisiΜn Burke, President of Mary Immaculate College Students' Union (MISU) and Aoife Gleeson, Vice-President of MISU.
It was raised on the MIC Thurles campus by Rob O'Halloran, Senior Campus Administrator, Dr Kate Stapleton, Lecturer in Education, Roisin Burke, Aoife Gleeson, and Shona Behan, MISU Welfare & Equality Officer.
