As part of Positive Mental Health Week, we have ‘Mindful Moments with Niamh Browne’ taking place tomorrow, Thursday, 14th October 2021 at 11 am via Zoom. Take a Moment for Yourself by attending our Mindful Moments Talk - Niamh Browne, mindfulness practitioner will discuss how introducing simple, effective mindfulness and meditation practices into our busy lives can effectively help us to manage stress and anxiety, especially as students get busy with assignments and exams.
Niamh will share her own story as to how a constant 24/7 ringing sound in her ear called Tinnitus led her to mindfulness and meditation and how the practice gave her the clarity and a renewed energy creatively to develop MoMe - a moment for me “FlashCards for Grown-Ups” which encourage us to pause and take a moment throughout our busy days and all the benefits doing so can bring to our lives.
Please bring a square of chocolate or a piece of fruit (mandarins are great) to the session.
There will be a Mindful Eating Practice as it is one of the fundamental practices in teaching us to stay present.
