MISU offer a range of practical welfare supports to help students struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.

Grab & Go Breakfast

Our Grab & Go Breakfast pack is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am. You can pick up your pack in an Siopa.

Food Parcels

Our food parcel service provides you with a bag of essential dry and tinned goods such as pasta, soups, tea, and canned fish, beans, peas and tomatoes. This service is offered with the support of the Mid-West Simon Community.

Swap Shop Rail

Our Swap Shop Rail has now finished for the 2024/25 Academic Year.

MISU Student Welfare Fund

If you are experiencing a financial emergency that requires short-term aid, the MISU Student Welfare Fund is available.  Students can apply to the fund once per academic year for up to €100. There is no requirement for students to submit documentation to apply for the fund; all that is required is completion of the application form.
