The Off-Campus Programme is an integral and distinctive component of the B.A. Degree in Liberal Arts.
It spans the third year of the degree and comprises study abroad and / or work placements for students.
Placements may be either one or two-semester duration.
All students are encouraged to undertake an international study or work placement of at least one semester so that they gain the added cultural, linguistic and personal benefits that being in another country brings. A placement in a French or German speaking environment is a requirement for students of French and German respectively. For students of Gaeilge, a placement in an Irish language environment is strongly recommended.
The placement office also offers Career Information.
