The Mary I Macra na Feirme Society was set up in 2007 to provide for a range of interests from drama and the arts to music and to sport. Fun and entertainment for the members were a priority. 26 members represented Mary Immaculate College in a nationwide Macra dance competition. They organised Hip-hop dancing and Irish set-dancing lessons in the college once a week, given by two members of the society to the other members. They also had a night out with the Macra society from U.C.C. and hoped to work more with the Macra Societies in other colleges in the future. This society needs new committee members this year.
