Mairéad Collins
Sabbatical (Full Time) Officer
Role: The President acts as the principle Union spokesperson, chairs the Executive Committee and co-ordinates Union activities.
Bio: Usually to be found frolicking through the halls in an array of colourful garments, Mairéad can be best described as a cross between a media junkie and a musician. She hails from the wilds of the West, namely Co. Mayo and her favourite things in life are people, places and her uilleann pipes. Mairéad lives in the fast lane but is a humanitarian at heart and will stop the world if someone needs to talk. She believes everyone should be heard so that’s why her door is always open…even if it’s freezing!
