For any students applying for a postgrad in Mary I for next year, it's worth noting that the Assistantships scheme has been changed.

For the forthcoming year, departments will be able to offer one new assistantship. This does not affect those already doing an assistantship.

This is not a permanent solution and there will be a wider review of the Assistantships scheme commencing in September.
