Welcome to MISU

Giving you a voice, helping you to use it, enriching your college experience

MIC Postgrads are based on the John Henry Newman campus (located across the road from the Foundation Building and main gates). Formally known as the Mount, this part of the campus was recently refurbished and opened as a fit-for-purpose research facility, bringing all postgraduate activities together into one space and significantly advancing provision in this area. Here, postgrad students can work away from the hustle and bustle of the main campus.

Post Grads meet monthly for lunchtime presentations. They meet on the 2nd Friday of every month. These presentations give students an opportunity to develop their writing and presenting skills and get feedback on their area of research.

There was no candidate for the MISU Postgraduate Officer for the 2019/20 Academic Year. A by-election will be held in September 2019. Their role is to guide and support their fellow Post Grad students with any issues, concerns or queries regarding their student life. They sit on college committees the as Postgraduate representative.
