Sabbatical (Full Time) Officer
Role: The Vice-President/Academic Officer acts as the first point of contact for giving advice to students on academic matters.
Bio: Cillian is from Miltown Malbay in West Clare but if you listen carefully to his accent you will be able to identify both Swedish and Belfast descent. Easily distinguishable from Darragh as “the one with the beard” he has been known by a few different names over the years, including “Steve the Pirate” and…“Penguin dude”???
He will talk to anyone about anything so definitely don’t be shy, his door is always open and he really loves to chat (though this can often make navigating from one end of campus to another particularly slow).
He will help with whatever he can; it doesn’t matter how big or small, so if you need an hand just give him a shout and he'll be on it.
