If you have to drive to college and park on campus then you must display a valid MIC student-parking sticker. This will entitle you to park on campus in the allocated student parking spots, not in the Staff Parking slots. Clamping is in operation on campus and you will have to pay a release fee

If you park your car off campus, please be considerate to the local residents and don’t park outside their houses or block their driveways.

Drivers of vehicles requiring the use of universally accessible parking bays may only do so if their vehicle displays a valid and registered “blue badge”. If you display a blue badge, you may use any of the universally accessible bays. Disabled parking is located at the front of the main building.

Parking Stickers

Student parking stickers are issued on application to registered students holding a valid MIC student card. To apply for a student-parking sticker, please call into the Students’ Union office. You will need to bring your Mary I ID card with you as well as your tax disc (to verify your car reg). The S.U will give you a form to fill in and will then issue you with a sticker. The sticker will only entitle you to park on campus in a designated student parking space.
You will still need a sticker to park in the pay car park. The campus car park costs €3.00 and the entrance is located across from Scott’s.

Parking Discs

Disc parking is in operation around the perimeter of the college and you can purchase parking discs or pick up your free park magic sticker starter pack.

Where do I buy Parking Discs?

  • An Siopa sells parking discs either singly (€2) or in a book (5 for €10). Scratch off the date and time on the disc and display in on the drivers window or on the dashboard. Remember to check the signs at the zone which will tell you how long you can park there for.

         What is Park Magic?

  • Park magic is a pay by phone parking system which is in operation in Limerick City and is run by Park magic in conjunction with Limerick City Council. Pick up your free parking sticker in An Siopa or the MISU Office. The sticker already has €5 credit which is activated when you register the sticker. Stick the sticker on your windscreen and when you want to pay for parking you just call the number posted on the signs on the street you wish to park on. The Park Magic system will ask you to enter the street number which is also posted on the signs and thereafter it will pay for your parking electronically. Limerick City traffic wardens can check your parking status using their handheld computers. An Siopa sells credit for park magic in values of €10 or €20. It's just like topping up your phone! You ring the number on the print out and enter the code.

We take passport sized pictures for €5.00. These pics can be used for student travel card applications, drivers licence forms etc….. If you need pictures taken for your passport we would advise you to go to O'Sulllivan's on O'Connell Ave.
