Dodgeball is a new, fun and different addition to the clubs in Mary I. It consists of two teams of six to ten players, with six players playing at any given time. Each game is three minutes long with the allowance of one 30 second time out for each team to substitute players. The game is played with 6 rubber coated foam balls which are placed along the centre line, 3 on one side of the centre mark and three on the other. Players then take their position behind their end line. An official will signal the beginning of the game. Teams can only retrieve the three balls to their right of the centre point. Once a ball is retrieved it must be taken behind the attack-line before it can be thrown. If there are still players left at the end of the 3 minutes, the team with the greater number of remaining players wins!
