The Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is a bookable service on the Limerick Campus and is stocked with a variety of non-perishable items and a small selection of health & beauty items.

Food Parcel Delivery Service
The Food Parcels Delivery Service is available to Thurles students and any students in general who cannot make it the Food Pantry on the Limerick Campus. The food parcels contain a variety of non-perishable items such as pasta, soups, tea, and canned fish, beans, peas and tomatoes. This service is offered with the support of the Mid-West Simon Community.

Grab & Go Breakfast Packs
Our Grab & Go Breakfast packs contain either a breakfast bar or porridge pot and items to make a cup of tea or coffee. They are available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 10:30 am in the Chaplaincy Room (T108) on the Limerick Campus.
Hygiene Kits
Our Hygiene Kits are a little bag that contains a toothbrush along with a variety of mini toiletry products. They are available for delivery or collection and we include one in every first application by a student for a Food Parcel.

Sexual Health Supports
Contraception: Free condoms and lubricant are available from the MISU Offices on both the Limerick and Thurles Campuses.
Pregnancy Tests: MISU are continuing to work with the Medical Centre to offer the free Pregnancy Test Delivery Service. This is a discreet and confidential service that you can access when needed.

MISU Student Welfare Fund
The MISU Student Welfare Fund is available for application where a student is experiencing a financial emergency that requires short-term aid.
Students can apply to the fund once per academic year and there is no requirement to submit documentation. All that is required is completion of the application form.
MISU will continue to work with the Access Office to support any students who may need to utilise this fund.
